Greenacre Boarding Kennels Gilbert Arizona

Tragically over 20 dogs perished
Here
and they were suffocated it is said
allegedly a wire was bitten through
Which
Stopped the air conditioning
And why they all fell dead

The owners went away leaving
Caretakers there to care
And all this carnage happened
Were these souls aware
Surely the moral principles
Of such a facility
Would need assurances that
If the owners left
That there would be

People who could carry on
Who could check and investigate
But seemingly the problem
Apparently was too great
When the fault was discovered
Attempts were made to try
And cool the dogs down
But sadly all of them did die

Despite the deaths they carried on
Taking new admissions
Promising high standards
In tune with their conditions
But clearly this was not the case
And many hounds were harmed
Psychologically damaged
And anything but charmed

Imagine what it must be like
To listen to the spiel
And leave your pet somewhere like this
I mean it’s very real
And they have an obligation
They are answerable and should
Have given a good account of what had happened
It’s not good

To treat your customers loved ones
In a disrespectful way
This is so insensitive
What else can one say
Grief is how they are feeling
And sorrow that they left
Their precious souls with this lot
And now feel so bereft

Of course there is a liability
Incumbent on this place
They are wholly accountable
What happened is a disgrace
How they handled it un businesslike
Cavalier I’d say
No respect for their customers
At all which has to play

Very much against them
But instead it seems as though
Charges brought against them
Have been dropped a real bad show
So they get no compensation
The place I hear is shut
With all these terrible happenings
I feel it in my gut
If I had lost a pet of mine
And some owners lost three
Well I would be beside myself
And sue them actually

The state is in a state
If it lets this facility
Kill 20 dogs
And treat the owners
So insensitively
There has to be duty of care
It’s a death house and it must
Never open it’s doors again
For who would ever trust

Any of them
