Rhapsody to the goddess

A rhapsody inspires the goddess
Her inventiveness and sympathy
Resourceful skilful enthusiastic
A chimera illusory
But is it really
Perhaps reality, it becomes
A bit unreal
But in each shared moment
It’s more than just
The total of two sums

It’s satisfying just to see
You out there on new pastures green
Escaping into worlds of wax
Of wicks and scents and dyes
A scene of wonderment that softens gazes
And mystifies

Visualising the inventive sphere
With the candour and openness
Manifesting the lights that’s here
A single candle lights the heavens
And many eyes may see its glow
and how the spirit to encourage
Such a venture has to grow

Wings, for in these moments clearly
Unmistakable emphasis reigns
An allegory of mystical meaning
Symbolic and esoteric gains
All of this shines forth I saw it
I felt it and I truthfully
Loved the moment
Loved its purpose
Affirming now what has to be.
