The rainbow bridge
is a place where they
go eventually
every animal has its place
in paradise they know
that we are back here pining
hoping they survived
their journey to the netherworld
for by now he has arrived
there is no pain there
no illness
just happiness for life
with the memories he spent with you
free of any strife
of age related sickness
free to be himself for ever
free to live and play
and rest and dream
of his daddy
now so far away
dear oscar he is there
playfully remembering you
he will never forget your kindness
