Maggots

The maggots fly blown souls

created by the hand of one

who demonstrates the need to clear

the carnage that’s undone

for what we all experience here

is malevolent desire

to rid a being of such ill

whilst creating their own fire

by demanding death

is exchanged for innocent soulful

sentient thought

patterns that were uppermost

and clearly sadly wrought

by evil hearted

drained vile sods

whose blood lust

was instilled

the puke of seas of suffering

saw many thousands killed

their heads removed with fury

the jury

out today

as anguish met tranquillity

and the sentient did pay

the maggots felt uncomfortable

the bacteria was seen

instead to create a diseased state

and the clouds

became obscene

as to soak

into the devotees souls

and reward them

vile and mean

with such ugly agonising pain

that would cripple their dark soul

condemn each wretch

to purdah

to the burden of control
