Firing heaps of softballs

at some pet cow in a  field

is tantamount to the vilest act

who ever lay concealed

with some contraption doing this

imagine that poor soul

probably at great speed

till she lost control

and why would you want to do this

to mother and a cow

who has never ever hurt a single worm

so in that case just how

can these idiots then do this

torture a cow until

it is so badly beaten up

and the state is left to kill

whoever did this

violent act I hope

Hathor comes along

she is the goddess who looks after cows

and she will know how wrong

it was to do this horrible thing

and see to it that those

guilty of so vile an act

will be hung up by their toes

and have their bloody legs torn off

let them feel the pain

let them see a mother

who took on all this strain

of living as cows have to

and just wanted to rest

ruminating calmly

wanted to invest

time and grass and clover

in just pretending she

was happy with her new found wealth

and died so tragically
