Indifference

Having a personality
That’s split perhaps into two
Is mind blowingly obvious
to me and perhaps to you

How such a person could operate
In a veterinarian place
Healing and caring for animals
Whilst also giving chase

So during the day
A Dr Jeckel dispensing
Healing to
Any sickly animals
Who dare to be brought through

But later in the evening
And at weekends
Mr Hyde
takes over
And the killing spree is on
Yea far and wide

Encouraging her children
To shoot and kill the prey
The animals the wild souls
Sought out and blown away

As regards the place of work
They are doomed I’d say
Judgement
justice there’s a closure
Coming any day
