China dogs

dogs in china get a raw deal
That much now we know
The culture there of eating them
It begins to show
The evil and the cruelty
Metered out to those
Pet dogs probably stolen
Expecting many blows
Beaten hard upon their snouts
A sensitive part that pains
Hang them up and slaughter them
The creature on the chains
The moans and groans of tortured souls
Waiting now for death
Voiceless to the mayhem
And the loss of vital breath
Punched and kicked and sworn at
The working men are bad
Not an ounce of empathy
Which really drives me mad
What have these dear souls done
To receive such terror they
Deserve compassion and some love
Not tonnes of dire dismay
