To Victoria Beckham

With all your money

you would think you’d be

much more aware

and could really see

wearing full length fur

means you

are guilty of torture

and killing too

now why would you suddenly forget

the cause

why unconsciously take a pause

buy a coat and wear our skin

honestly excuses are wearing thin

there was no need

so many cried

deep down truly deep inside

mothers lose children

fathers too

all sacrificed because of YOU

because of vanity

we had to die

we were happy

and thats no lie

my family living where we were born

but your wishes and clothes

put us to scorn

I was trapped

out looking for food

dad was shot

his end so crude

the pups they died

they starved to death

you’ve got kids

just hold your breath

just imagine the pain

a mum goes through

knowing her kids

will be dying too

Victoria Beckham

hear my plea

we hope dear it never happens

to thee

for if it does

you may recall

our little family

now that is all

reminder for next time of what some of us have to go through
