a phallic pole stands in the square
1 calf and 2 goats
waiting to be butchered
a death it seems of note
someone hold your back legs
someone pulls your head
someone has a bloody knife
and then chops off your head
destruction of a life form
a miracle of creation
and its all done in a public square
in front of a nation
of people heartless to events
blood letting as they drag
the headless body around the square
forming a circle it does scare
the living daylights out of me
its something I don’t want to see
innocent animals murdered by
a highly obnoxious kind of guy
no respect for animal kind
a thoughtless infidel
left behind
a narrow minded
traitorous goon
who I hope will get his
come uppence soon
