Digital Revolution

The Barbican played host

to creativity

a world of CGI, games and beyond

vast digital wonderment

conceptual art forms

testament

to computational planning

probably now spanning

a quarter of a century

of discovery and more

inventions on a unique theme

which no one should ignore

illogic computation

born of imagination

immense dedication

and collective aspiration

some uniqueness concentrated

on multi levels all debated

intuition relegated

uniqueness then was instigated

it has circumnavigated

every formal cerebration

reaching today’s celebration

of all the good  the analytic

mind blowing reasons

synergetic

exploration, conceive, assume

indoctrinate

from cot to tomb

evangelize supposedly

and all with credibility

The digital revolution

provided the solution

explored deviation

with so much information

wonderful interaction

complete satisfaction

look at the reaction

and the general protraction

lasers, phasor’s light shows

tone poles

fluorescent shafts

patterns, new goals

pyramids and smoky eyes

which is why I eulogize

the massive effort

to communicate

and of course collaborate

giant pet snakes

in the foyer

move in fact

as if they saw  yer

curiously they seem to know

what you are doing down below

sound and vision

state of play

the digital future

its today

animations everywhere

seeper straws

for the aware

everything to blow your mind

to stimulate

and help you find

new pathways to a brave new world

where everyone is being hurled

tumbling out across the sky

and down to earth

again  and why

the revolution encompasses all

the super Mario Pac man school

into the cosmos and out beyond

reasoning can we respond

can we foresee the coming storm

and on that great big stage perform
