An arch druid I Know

I know I missed your birthday

that was bad of me

but thats when you got lots of thoughts

and, I eventually

cottoned on to all of them

and imagined what I’d do

is write a poem about a lady

whose light is shining through

the darkness that is out there

in many aspects, she

quietly goes about the task

of healing naturally

a women of such stature

in a world of corporate lies

and its not all done with mirrors

only those that realize

the true nature of the pagan

the explicit regard

for the magical dimensions

she who marks the bardic card

blessed with understanding

and cordiality

and earnestness and an eagerness

to exult each mystery

to create a gladness over time

and to build upon it till

its agreeable and enchanting

and induces natural skill

Veronica your birthday

was a family one, for you

having adopted  people

who feel they wish to do

follow in your footsteps

be dutiful and sure

a guide a truthful mentor

whose integrity is more

and a moral strength

is felt by all

its that aura that some see

it makes you so approachable

that’s what it did for me

I imagined that I knew you

I had met you before

on some pagan pathway

I was very sure

that was how Claudia felt

unbeknowing to me

the virtue of a women

which so many people see

the henges and the myriad stones

the magic of each site

the over riding symphony

is clearly at the height

such power is so within you

its manifest and there

Happy Birthday Veronika

its late  but still I share
