How much is that doggy in the glass box

I have been on your website

a garden centre

packed to the skies

and thought I might mentor

it all sounds great really

in old Enfield

a weekend perhaps

and what is  concealed

we are  who are we

well yea just I

I am a puppy dog

and I will  tell you why

I’m stuck in glass box

often all the day

with torn up newspaper

is that the way?

you humans do it

you humans sell

me, a live animal

for me its hell

I feel like a goldfish

and they now have rights

so what about me

all those brights lights

that look after our welfare

out on the big plain

seemingly have gone and missed

us again

I don’t feel that good about

being stuck here

with a price tag above my head

making it clear

I am to be bought

by who has the dough

they could be lovely

or cruel whose to know?

as a dog I believe

pet shops shouldn’t be

and stuck in a glass case

does nothing for me

I feel, its cruel

its stuffy and sad

and although I’m a puppy

I am feeling mad

I see Im on facebook

and activists might

sign my petitions

and prove I am right
