A sitting duck

thats what she feels

in her home

what that reveals

is Israeli bombs

are raining down

on where she lives

in Gaza town

there’s no where to go

no place to hide

if you try to run

its just suicide

if you try to stay

its a matter of time

when the roof will cave in

and your hear the rhyme

of death for  its coming

we’ve seen it before

hundreds of children

just blood and gore

broken and bleeding

poor limbless wrecks

such consternation

it has to vex

everyone here

in this darkness where we

listen and wait

for the shells

for they be

coming we know it

the blood and the gore

we will be just a statistic for sure

she cries from her heart

why do we suffer so

let her impart

the fear and the terror

the pain she reveals

Israel knows what its doing

conceals

its hatred its violence its

vileness and tries

to make out the rockets

that Hamas now flies

over its borders

to kill and to maim

are the one reason

why Hamas, is to blame
