Agriculture knows little about culture

a lot about toxicity in fact

35 different residues of pesticide on tomato’s

how the hell does anyone react

this is a salad product

a love apple some say

what has love to do with it

when all we do is pay

through the nose for produce

through the skin for pain

through the gut for cancer

it was all in vain

watching this green plant appear

watching as it grew

and fruit appearing on its stems

then what did they do

spray from aircraft

many times

many cocktails fell

many times and many sprays

and  it all came down from Hell

agriculture has no culture

its prophets they all left

maybe they make a lot of profit

but they are bereft

and  we are the real consumers

the rumours we hear are true

agriculture stinks its really stinks

in fact all through

it was to do with money

it should have been with care

it should all be about balance

and being more aware

but all you did was ruin

a precious fruit and you

offer us something evil

with so much residue
