Illegal slaughterhouses why?

In India there are  places

Illegal slaughterhouse so we hear

lots of pigs tied up awaiting

for death in it all its forms

shaking shivering pallid

from the fear

why would there be so many

illegal death camps

the reason is an easy one

for they

are down to people

wanting cheaper meat

around the place

cheaper pork

on any given day

the main stores

have the mastery

and make their profits high

they’ve cut out  the competion

all of them did die

and now the prices rise

of course which the people

can’t afford

higher prices so the poorer folks

reward

is these l

illicit places

crudely killing souls

and  the public  they walk away

do their other strolls

all they want is cheaper meat

cheaper everything

and so they condone

these illegal places

and the fear that it must bring

to the victims tied up in the bush

contemplating death

with rusty blades

life sooner fades

as the vanquished fight

for breath

and the VSPCA find them

and  of course cut them loose

and they struggle and they

are tormented souls

but there;s a noose

around their neck

invisible it is

they can’t get away

they scramble

over each other

tormented all the way

but are they where have they to go

people want their blood

its only the activists and vegans

that will save them from the mud

illegal slaughterhouses

will spring up everywhere

because the people who eat meat

are bloody unaware

they have let their markets

grow and grow

and the prices  all have too

so the illegal trade

will make their killing

it has been like this all through
