Circus

It isn’t rocket science

wild animals dont do

circus tricks

unless of course

they are made to do

made that is by torturing

them

breaking their spirit

then they

might do whats expected of them

you might then get your way

tether them and bull hook them

beat them black and blue

deny them water

deny the food

thats the way they do

what they do

the wilder one’s clearly

have to be

treated most unkindly

if its tricks you want to see

Circus is a cavalcade

of disasters  and we must

realize the inconsistency

and the disgust

look behind the circus lights

the trumpets and the rest

and appreciate the cruelty

and how they all detest

the though of being

taken from the wld

to be a part

of the biggest show on earth

loaded on some cart

and shipped across the ocean

and chained up

every day

no exercise to speak of

and fed little every day

beaten made to stand on

balls

the trickery of sin

Circus is a vile place

whose value has worn thin

all animals should be banned

from them

no animal alive

should every be put through

this torture

for in esswence they won’t

survive

its unmitigated horror

you can see it in their eyes

and human beings going there

just do not realize

what it is they are

supporting

it isnt even vague

circus is not fit for purpose

so avoid it like the plague
