Animals Equality investigation into Lambs in Italy

Animals Equality

has gone across to Italy

and seen a massive loophole

in the farm to slaughterhouse

lambs  are little babies

which nobody should forget

they are not meat they a full of life

and therefore just to let

them be insensitively handled

like say a sack of corn

inanimate is so wrong

each has just been born

they are full of life

they are inquisitive

light on their feet, aware

so to treat them as Equality saw

and certainly not to share

the men seemed all impervious

to the feelings of those souls

hung them up like so much muck

broke all the controls

brutal lacking pity

these lambs are going to die

at least show them a little respect

they are highly strung and why

the men are so insensitive

so cruel in many ways

one might say they are evil

worthy of no praise

a harshness and a roughness

isn’t called for at this stage

not a gram of tenderness

in fact some in a rage

tossing them about and be very cruel

to me

and any thinking person

this is not the way to be

the animals are frightened

who wouldn’t be

and they

are treated with such anger

and bitterness

to say

realizing death is near

is unpalatable enough

without the perpetrators

making those  moments tough

and its all done in a group

so each can see and feel and know

what happened to one is going to happen

to them

it is so low

so vile, so sick

imagine this your being killed

and can see

what its like as your friends die

they maybe family

to the slaughter men apparent

they are thick skinned dark abusers

with no regret for what they do

they come across as losers

they chose this job

and so they ought to do it properly

not treat them as if they are a pain

inconsiderately

stun guns do not stun them

they are kicking  it is clear

the accuracy was terrible

and we can see the fear

the stress the absolute shock

the pain, its all there in their face

as they swing about on chains

the mighty human race

cut their throats with venom

as we see their  eyes pop out

and death comes to their brains

whats all this about?

who knows now what they  are seeing still

as  blood is gushing everywhere

its very sad for Italy

that people do not care

its sad for the tiny babies

that are treated in this way

no empathy they are victims

no compassion

come what may

no one’s apologetic

its deplorable in there

the misery is wretched

its a stable of despair

its a sorry end for all those lambs

a mournful, doleful scene

andall those  fucking slaughter men

they are making it  obscene

its hideous and clumsy

and unnecessary to see

little lambs so full of fun

ravaged painfully

the film depicted sorrow

it breaks one’s heart to see

saturnine and sullen sods

use such vulgarity

Those of you out there

who eat meat

beware now how its killed

babies treated so badly

as their blood is spilled

what sense is this

the flavour must change

if fear is there

and making their deaths drawn out

like this

must create that

its now clear

lack of formal training

boredom who can say

sicko’s working too may hours

psychopaths a way

down the road  beyond true thought

they get some morbid high

from torturing sweet babies

who truthfully rely

on a better end I am assurred

than what has been shown here

Italy must now regret

and do something that’s clear

turf out all those rotters

send them on their way

and employ more decent people

and give them better pay

and I call for more vegans

to step up to the plate

less of all this terror

why not close the gate

shut it down lets

have less killing

eat more plants and be

living in a calmer world

that thinks compassionately
