Water and your future

Every child deserves the right

to drink fresh water, they

have the right like anybody else

why would they pay?

whilst others waste so much of it

how can that be fair

no one says it has to be

who are you to share

what nature has provided

you are just too poor

you don’t have a leg to stand on

you! we shall ignore

if its water that you need

there’s plenty in the ground

go and fucking dig it up

a factor to astound

we are mighty corporate’s

soldiers of energy

we take fracking upon ourselves

and treat it seriously

clawing into marcellus shale

that lies 2 miles below

takes vast amounts of water

we need it don’t you know

we inject it with a cocktail

of chemicals, and we

thrust it down the drill head

to where it has to be

but what about our children

what about those who

need fresh drinking water

their cells all need it too

what do you say big corporate

where do our children go

they can fucking go to hell

now of course you know

they have little value

and kingdom come will be

better now for knowing that

and that water has to be

utilized by frackers

turned into a soup

laced with the vile chemicals

those poor kids they can

scoop

their water

from the earth themselves

struggle in the sod

and if it comes to nothing

than can go pray to their god

as their bodies racked with dryness

give up and they alone

can be fortified with knowing

there is no need to moan

for we the giant corporate’s

are fracking and we’re free

to do it really anywhere

in the vicinity

and if it means your water

is compromised then we

have the right to do whatever

we deem right,  and we be

the rulers for the energy

is guaranteed to be

profiting the richest

and this humanity

they need it for their soda’s

their coca cola splash

they need it for their chasers

for them of course its flash

but you some grovelling youngster

who hasn’t got a bean

worthy of just nothing

already sick and lean

you have no call on water

you have nothing to say

you are the poor and as such

dry up and go away

there that is their edict

and as such we must see

if its fracking that we want

if its energy

if its natural gas we want

then we must pay the price

let the children die

even if that’s not nice

even if it means water

is wasted every day

is turned into a chemical soup

that must be thrown away

even if peoples cries are heard

above the grinding drill

on their knees they pray aloud

as the fracking waters spill

down on them

they clutch the earth

they scream blue murder, they

are dying for a drop of water

they are made to pay

for being poor and helpless

that’s the law to day

only children of the corp orates

can have water

that’s the way

at this time its water

soon it will be air

if you cannot pay the price

your dead

are you aware

what the world is coming to

how you will go on

if you cannot pay the price

that’s it alas you’re gone

what I say is wake up

if you love and care

supply yourselves with fortitude

and just try to be there

to fight all this injustice

for otherwise you will see

activism becomes the crime

that ends humanity

only enclaves in their sewers

will be our rich domain

clawing at their remnant waste

and going half insane

as they gulp down their soda’s

as they intoxicate

their bodies with the surplus

they simply profligate

everything that was the worlds

is now there’s as for us

we are the sewer people
