Ringling the circus/ the elephants/ the tricks/

Anyone with a trace of morality

must first imagine how a creature

might

just manage walking on  concrete

all day

when reality

shows for  their feet

its not right

it also isn’t rocket science

to suggest that they

who walk for miles

across the scrub

every single day

would find it less than easy

to be holed up in some shed

and tortured chained

and left to be

anyone might see red

and how do you get

an elephant

to do the tricks you need

you beat its arse till it does it

thats how you succeed

how do you get it to that stage

what do you have to do

starve it or keep it from water

bull hook it yea maybe too

cruelty it is the only way

to exact what you need from their soul

they were wild animals

plucked from their homes

their families

they lost the control

and circus became the great

concentration camp elephants

had to regard

as home being moved here and there

every day

on the road in a wagon

its hard

its torture its alien nonsense

its wrong on all counts that we do

subject wild animals to all of this

its a violence that sadly is true

Ringling and others they are providers

of our entertainment they say

what could be worse

than to know the participants

suffered so much

and did pay

for the pleasure of just being

prisoners

tortured in dungeons below

chained to the wall

and joining the school

of torture and pain

for them all
