Plea to who ever is listening from a baby Rhino

I loved my mother so much

and she so loved me too

everything I know about this planet

all I do

was taught me by my mother

and to find her just today

lying dead beside the tree

bleeding and in decay

tore into my heart

and struck my emotion

what can I

now do

there is nothing left

but to lay down here and die

they came and cut her horn off

with her wide eye can she see

me lying beside her

crying now loudly

she doesn’t move

she apparently

has left this world and gone

its only her body I lay beside

for she was the sun that shone

she was the moon that cooled me

she was the stars that seemed

she was the tres that gave us shade

with her I always dreamed

wonderful dreams of the future

for she was my pride and joy

she was my beautiful mother

and I was her little boy
