with all the best intentions

this koi carp place was born

a 100 goats 80 sheep

donkeys and horses torn

between the need to save them all

and keep them from harms way

fracked up, we have to say

one of the worst winters

experienced to date

created such a miasma

he got into a state

everything froze around him

and he didn’t have the cash

and his animals got sickly

taking one hell of a bash

he tried to do it all himself

from dawn to dusk he tried

but withoutr help and money

many of them died

and just lay there

just rotting

no fresh water for

the others it was purgatory

knocking on the door

the animals got through the fences

and caused the neighbours to

complain about them being on the highways

as you do

buzzards were always circling

indicators of some ill

and finally the authorities

came by and are there still

at least 200 animals are sickly

and are sure

to be rehoused if anybody wants them

dont ignore

this plea for help

the owner is being charged and he

must realise his negligence

and lack of enough money

brought the farm a crashing down

really around his ears

the animals were drying

the worst of all his fears

deplorable conditions

corpses everywhere

and what was a dream had become

for him a terrible nightmare
