Shouju lost her mother
in the cove near to Taiji
her mother never came up for air
it was not to be
creation took millenia
to so design them, and
the Japanese took minutes
they failed to understand
all they ever saw was money
in their bank account
and so
the free
spirits in the ocean
they just had to go
had to give their lives
they perished
with those they cherished
cut about with knives
The Japanese lack every
bit of empathy, and they
wouldn’t know compassion
if it surfaced in the bay
they are too hard to recognize
the purity of thought
of a mother for its baby
who in their nets gets caught
all they saw was dollar bills
in their eyes of course it thrills
the rarity the world would see
and the price would go up rapidly
