1000 voices for the voiceless

A train journey

from somewhere

Piccadilly sights

the trees of Hyde Park

dancing

in the winters light

Protesters every which way

and around the embassy

yellow coated security

were all that we could see

our bloody hands apparent

Sea Shepherd flags on high

blue dolphins held up proudly

to fly into the sky

up above the traffic

the megaphones did roar

“stop the slaughter in the water”

“shame on you and more”

1000 voices opened

1000 voices in tune

1000 voices together

and more planned protests soon

candles in the twilight

wind swept faces true

our friends the dolphins

they could hear

and we could hear them too
