what is happening to the world

we want the news today

whether he’s smoking marijuana

or racing up the street

really doesn’t matter

one iota, the elite

are covering up the real stuff

and dribbling out the rough

and I am just a citizen

and  I’ve  had about enough

theres the tar sands

that black crude

those excavations

can be seen

from outer space

Alberta

yea it once was green

but now its as black as houses

its grim beyond compare

its everything nobody wants

pollution and despair

and then there’s Fukashima

3 meltdowns and my god

radiation flowing through the oceans

its a sod

everywhere’s polluted

this precious earth of ours

they went and put  a reactor

on an earthquake fault

the powers

to be

were they infallible?

why did they build it there

we only need another quake

and Japan will be no where

and the bloody radiation

is coming over here

Canada is getting it

the maps I see a clear

is it in the news though

are we being told

whose not as good as gold

its three times worse than Chernobyl

where over a million died

and already children in Japan

it cannot be denied

many have got tumours

already things are bad

the news is full of nothing much

and I for one am sad

we have to look between the lines

we have to understand

we’re kept  in the dark

no one will hold our hand

and lead us  bloody anywhere

its seems I am alone

waiting for the radiation

perhaps from my smart phone

or from my smart meter
