The Polar Bear “Arturo” Mendoza Zoo in Argentina opedned in 1903

Look ,this is not rocket science

any child knows

a polar bears lives

in the ice where the flows

are  clearly this temperature

is what they need

and housing such a bear

will certainly lead

to problems when

such bears are taken to zoo’s

like “Arturo” in Mendoza

all can feel his blues

he is seen every day

his behaviour is sad

he has no where to walk to

his gait is now bad

the temperature in Argentina

can reach 40c

and for a polar bear

that’s  too hot

obviously

Mendoza is not a place

where he should be

a  Canadian Zoo

has said they will see

to it he’s adopted

but to this date

he

still flounders in  that heat

and will die obviously

we must  raise awareness

at the plight of this soul

and get him out of this zoo

that is a role

we can all help with

to make his plight known
