The Turkeys and the Moon

The world has got a problem
and its everywhere these days
how to make a profit
and a business now that pays
the superstores are dinosaurs
massive buyers who
likely want the cheapest price
and will rip it out of you
if you happen to be a supplier
what they expect is blood
you are working for the supermarket
and drowning in their flood

take this and try to understand
how hard it is for those
farmers out there
at the farming level
as it grows
the birds the cows
the animals
become a vast cost and
produce vast wastes to think about
and problems it does pose

and what we see and know about
are the massive CAFO’s where
the hyper stores create
a market
but no one is aware
everyone is fighting for that margin
that they need
and often its the animals
that pay
and do they bleed

suffering dire conditions
in those concentration camps
no more do they graze outside
their sun are those great big lamps
a huge great shed
and cages
packed tight depending on
what is being farmed there
the fresh green fields are gone

foraging for wild food
that’s all in the past
now its measured food amounts
everything is fast
moving towards robots working
machinery and more
modifying nature like they
never did before

and the animals are suffering
selective breeding too
making them grow much faster
than Nature wanted them to
and great big breasts on turkeys
their legs cannot withstand
the great weight of their body
but they don’t understand

how sad it makes those turkeys
lying in their urine
their undersides are burning
everything’s not fine
but the less powerful they suffer
when the moguls bang their drum
everybody jumps along the line
and there are some

who have jumped around so much
they are suffering really too
and the hyper stores are gobbling up
the smaller shops who do
lay down really and just die
and the big store takes it all
the business that they built up
and hoped they could rely

so power breeds power and insanity rules
and the corporate world creates
more and more machinery
there are no no farm gates
its a seething mass of bodies
some die no one see’s
only the maggots that frequent the place
and everyone agrees

the price is all important
tailor the feed to suit
nobody wants to raise the costs
that is at the root
of all the costs and prices
the pressure that’s applied
and the environment often suffers
and the animals locked inside

and the staff they get low wages
its because they have no voice
they have take the frustration
they do not have a choice
the public are not listening
in fact they hardly care
they want a chicken at a price
and just remain unaware

so everything is mechanised
life and death can be
over in a second
no one cares for thee
if you are just a turkey a chicken
or a cow
you are just a commodity
and really that is how

progress has created
this market for the souls
who are murdered in their billions
the budgets and the goals
exceeded and evisceration happens
everyday
the processes are growing
but the animals not pay

a vile price for popularity
and for their initial cost
humanity forgets their lives
on earth
which they have lost
they now are living robots
machinery,
no more
connected up to milkers
or locked inside some door

creation is the miracle
but from that time and till
man decides when they are killed
its enough to,really chill
its horror from the day you are born
till they day they cut your throat
and this period once known as life
is shorter we all must note

its concentrated living
its concentrated death
its concentrated squalor
as some fight for each breath
these prison camps are massive
the waste is massive too
and ends up in the environment
amongst the clueless who

suffer the diseases
realise the woe
see the wild fish dying
and the planet as we know
the smells the wind does carry them
the water around a bout
get polluted with these run off’s
but no one hears you shout

the authorities can’t help you
the energy costs they rise
the need for oil and nuclear
will be our demise
but the corporates are listening
they want everything to day
as cheaply as they can get it
and they just don’t want to pay

Turkeys, chickens, Capons
every bird around
they are suffering like crazy
in their excrement they drowned
and how can it get better
as demand gets higher still
make us into robots
and force us against our will

and in China that is happening
that is what we see
everything is mechanised
we have lost humanity
the carnivores are desperate
the animals are too
the bee’s are fucking leaving
and of course, when they do

as Einstein said there’s 4 years
and Planet Earth will die
so really what we have to do
is not stand here and cry
to the heavens we must wake up
and bloody wake up fast
and get some real reality back
for the die alas is cast

like all the animal earthlings
we are all going for the chop
the new world order are after us
and unless of course they stop
depopulation’s coming
the old must pass on soon
the young the sick and everybody else
ist stop the Moon
