When animals are taken from their natural habitats

and transferred to cages in zoo’s far away

they need then to be looked after completely

and that means 100 per cent every day

ensure they are clean ensure they are well fed

it needs great training for their needs are high

but what is now  happening in this  facility

is pure neglect and so many now die

elephants shackled their legs torn and bleeding

camels not fed properly a bag of bones

pelicans a cage packed with so many

monkeys just look at them

hear their sad groans

this is a hell hole for animals sadly

rubbish is strewn all about and they do

eat it and die plastic bags are one culprit

nobody cleans up we have to ask why

 its  so underfunded if this is the problem

if there is no money the animals pain

is seen by the visitors everyone sees it

animals dying their lives so in vain

Zoo’s are anathema in my opinion

and this one should be closed

for clearly  we see

a cruel and despicable place

and as such

must close down immediately
