Frozen Donkeys found alive

Found in Karlick Village
near Silverek oh! dear
they all were huddled together
clearly in great fear
the ice and snow it enveloped them
the wind chill cut them down
loaded with long icicles
just outside of the town
villagers have rescued them
from what was an ordeal
the poor wee strays had all but lost
Lets imagine how they feel
frozen to the marrow
but huddled together tight
and this is believed to have saved them
as they stood there through the night
their breath their body heat appears
to have saved them though it came
close to be curtains
but they will never feel the same
