Cows

Do we need Science?

to tell us the obvious
deep in our throats
we have feelings or should have
and eyes for to see
and hearts for to feel
so why can’t we be

more in the now
more able to
realise cows
kn ow what they do
they are the miracle
they are the sense
they feel the pain
they are not dense

not dense like humans
whose intelligence seems
to be quite enormous
he can write reams
papers on Science
so much he can do
but listen and feel
I don’t know about you

but those folk consuming
the blood of the cow
or the milk of the calf
must ask themselves how
they have let themselves go
and become cow like too
dull not the cow
dull yea like you

the ungulates message
is clearly that they
are pissed off and angry
what humans do say
they have the feelings
as mothers they do
they are raped and then
their babies kidnapped
they pay
a high price for being
a high price for life
human behaviour
and of course
the sharp knife

cows have such feeling
and gradually they
are getting more angrier
we make them pay
a high price for living
for giving their all

they are the fall

guys and they take hits
like no tribe now do
trucked bleeding miles
and craned off in full view
that no soul should ever be treated
but they
are hung out to dry
at the end of the day

we do not need white coats
to show us that they
are put upon tortured and murdered
each day
