Women and values

Women have enormous value
and when its lost, society
reaches down into a chasm
blissful of its alacrity
to insult the creative wisdom
endorsed by women far and wide
despite a banner that of protest
not to truthfully then hide
controversially called humour
a vileness surfaced from those who
feel a womens place is acceptance
of domination through and through
anger vileness dark and evil
swamped the page creating there
a sad and sinful expose
of
rape which brought fresher despair
there is a feeling growing sadly
that women are created for
to be exploited by the maleness
sexual objects more and more
how sad this is for contemplation
of such a force its clearly wrong
implying that the mass creation
of women kind were all along
simply to be subjugated
left to lie in pastures new
within their loins the only treasure
basically for a male’s pleasure
as part of the kitchen crew
to regard the female species
in this light appears to me
to be a depraved state of thinking
patriachal exclusivity

    I am a friend of Trista Hendren, author of ‘the Girl God’. I think, your poetry is lovely. I am just about to read more of it now. We get so much hate hurled at us, as activists for women’s rights, that we need the soothing balm of poets like you.

      I am humbled by your words to me I love women and I feel for them more so than I can say really in words
      so many times I feel sick by what I read men have written or how mean react or how men are twards women
      little or no respect, little or no compassion little or no love no understanding just no thought whasoever.

      I with you and all women fighting to be women and why not you are wjhat keeps this world wonderful
