There is no such word as adversity if there is love around

Hardly a bag of bones
this little soul
contorted its flesh torn and twisted
starved of affection and life as we know
laid out like a corpse
with no where to go

someone had let her get into this state
and had dumped her consigning her
to her sad fate
but this little soul Xena her name
showed signs of life she
clearly was game

in a desperate state
with heart though still strong
and after a few months of care
not so long
she had recovered, and she had found
a autistic boy who just happened around

clearly the both of them able to be
closer, both sensitive souls
they could see
and basically help each other
to be
staying away from adversity

joy came and love for each other
and they
are happy together
both being a ray
of sunlight to each its a friendship
for sure
and a story that none of us ought
to ignore.
