This Dairyman was a murdering bastard

I was born
about 2 hours ago
I just slipped out
of mama
fell out heavily on the floor
life for me a star
shining in the heaven’s
I breathed and tasted air
I heard my mother grunting
I was so aware

The farmer he was very gruff
a cap slung sideways on his head
he picked me up and threw me
then I did see red
I had just come into this world
and this place seemed hell for me
already I was bleeding
and my mama could see

she was lowing like a fog horn
but she got a pitch fork straight
into her back passage
she didn’t have to wait
his dreadfulness was shocking
if this was Planet Earth
that I had been told to come to
it really had no worth

then all of a sudden
he just grabbed hold of me
his fingers squeezed my body
I mean he shouldn’t be
treating us like this at all
then he stuck one in my eye
it hurt so much I couldnt bear it
and I began to cry
so he chucked my in a dustbin
“that’s what becomes of you”
lay there
die
and suffocate
you are useless too
you are nothing but a bloated worm
your life is over and
die you bloody insult
just try and understand
the supermarkets will not pay
a proper price and so
male calves have to perish
and that is where you go
your mother will be joining you
next month you can bet
and that’s because I’m overdrawn
and now so much in debt
don’t think of me as awful
the system is all wrong
the supermarkets are too big
and I just don’t belong
in farming any longer
and that’s because of you
you cows get on my bloody nerves
