the circus packs a bigger punch than we thought

Its not all that funny
that’s if you ask me
what the government might
try to do
a few months ago it was adamant
that animals it took the view
would have to be banned from the circus
it was clearly a horrid idea
keeping them housed in those trailers
in a state of what was abject fear
its just makes no sense to have
animals
travelling from town to town
it is no life and causes such strife
getting injured and being put down
we must in this day and age realise
that animals do need a life
not cooped in trailers
fed on crap food
and no exercised
as so many allude
its perfectly obvious it shouldn’t be
no animals ought to be worked actually
Circus in fact is way out out of date
these days who goes who dares to relate
to a travelling troup and assorted of souls
who should all be in sanctuaries
not taking roles
doing stupid type tricks
they should never do
and reality proves that what
I say is true
its pure cruelty and on that basis
we should
ban all the animals now if we could
The new politicians should open their eyes
use their brains for a moment and so realise
wild animals should never ever be there
living in dear and constant despair
its a time to say no to these people
