This is not China
and its not Korea
actually America
it is right here
Florida’s hot
and we’re in a cage
its dirty, its filthy
and we’re here for an age
we don’t get no water
we don’t get no food
we get picked up and gawped at
it really is crude
This is your flea markets
90 degrees
it might be alright
for you and the flea’s
but us we are wild birds
and rabbits and snakes
lizards and turtles
the problem this makes
we sweat deep inside
we feel rather weak
well I have to say
not at our peak
if it happened in China
you’d be on our case
but because its America
right in your face
where are you activists
why don’t you care
we are as special
we have to share
the same air
and water
so give us some hope
