Animals abuse ( its everywhere and growing)

why is it happening
nobody knows
its not an underclass
the problem just grows
in all walks of life
its apparently
now on a scale
and it is hard to see
how it can be stopped
for the perception is there
the farmers are doing it
there is little care
factory farms exist
and they are so cruel
the dairy industry
only a fool
would imagine the murder and mayhem
that’s there
its swamping us all
in great waves of despair
and ordinary owners are
following suit
cats, dogs and horses
and what’s at the root
is a general selfishness
and narcissistic view
its all self indulgence
the ungenerous do
for themselves and for others
no interest at all
no respect just self seeking
and really that’s true
animals used for hunting
for fighting for showing off
never for their loyalty
for their contribution
its seems no solution
many alas they just don’t
have a clue
and if something comes up
its out with the pet
down to the pound
we’re in such deb’t
the first one to go
is the cat or the hound
just too much to keep them
to keep them around
and that’s what we see
and the rest of it just
sickens me bashing them
it does disgust
most thinking people
its beastly to see
them copying commerce
and their infamy.
