Murder after torture of an innocent cat

This pitiless merciless torture
of one
innocent baby
what had she done
but just be a kitten
grasped by some fiend
some psychopath creature
and it was all screened

callousness remorselessness
no quarter spared
these mindless criminals
on a soul that was scared
out of her mind
look at those sharp eyes
scaring and staring
she did realise
her fate at the hands
of such nasty and sick
who chortled and sang even
blazingly thick

to the genuine
fear and the terror within
what appeared hopelessness
born out of sin
she was battered and
laughed at so as to underpin
the shock the emotion the
most abject fright
dreading the future
not wanting to fight

she hung from the grasp
in a macabre way
possibly hoping
this wasn’t the day
when life for her ended
for certainly she
was intimidated
which did sicken me

I want to reflect
on her coolness in fact
how would one feel
how would one react
a disbelief really
that humans could be
so frightfully cruel
and so ominously

then they threw her
out the window
and followed to see
she had crashed to the
ground
and lay silently
her wounds must have
felt
shockingly bad
her emotions
turned inside out
feeling so sad
that her life was ending
on such a sour note
at the hands of these
brutes with fire in their throat

they have to be caught
someone must know
someone must come forward
for clearly the show
they put on for sicko’s
to watch has to be
their sentence their end game
they cannot be free

they must be locked up
and give me the key
never let out
what we must see
is their life time
curtailed in the vilest of ways
keep them in a cage
and see how that plays

out in their minds
let them try to create
a state of mind
that might just obviate
my doubt here is obvious
what I have seen
an incredulous ferment
like some warped machine
that goes off on its own
in a frenzy of fear
crushing all in its path
without stopping to hear
