Mexico City protests against Bull Fighting

(When I was in Mexico City I booked to see the bull fight
I watched may be 10 fights I was so sickened by them I left way before the end
its wholesale murder of young healthy Bulls and is perilously close to being
something that should have never been staged as there is no justification for it
and could never be, those people who support it must be totally heartless)

Covered in mock blood they lay on the square
this was a protest from people who care
it can never be right
for these Bulls to be killed
to be stabbed
to be jabbed
to be tortured
the blood spilled
how it weakens the Bull
it’s just agony.
yet it fights for its life
which most of us see
is a futile affair
for its massacre day
it hasn’t a chance
in Hell as they say

its prepared in the pen
its neck muscles cut
its eye balls are filed
look its open and shut
this is murder and torture
and everything vile
these matadors how can they strut out
in style
they are creeps in their satin’s
cowards in their bows
their cape and the sword
my god it just shows

anyone caring who witnesses this
must die every time
for we all have to miss
it is blood letting
and such a frenzy of gore
those Bulls they get stabbed
and jabbed more and more
if someone gets gored
then so be it I say
it balances things in
a little way
hundreds laid down in the hot square
and they
were huddled together
asleep they did play
their role
as dead bulls
and it got on TV
out on the internet
which we all see

garlands
and swords were littered about
dead to the world
there was no doubt
the bull fight is now just murder
and we
must stop it forever
so bless it be
