The quest for margin could be the end of most of us

Seven times the antibiotics
go to healthy animals than
what’s prescribed for humans
when infections come along
it makes the animals heavier
and so they make more profit
its all about the balance sheet
and that’s why the people now
eat more meat
why you are encouraged to thus consume
which is likely to bring upon you
more doom
and gloom and our planet already is
sick
its the corporate few
keep the rest of us thick

misinformation
investing big bucks
in telling us lies
the principle sucks
but take GM and labelling
and changing the law
a few put in billions
to try and ensure

that you never know whether
GM is there
because GM actually
equates to despair
its a terrible science
based really on greed
on selfishness actually
and could succeed

in reducing the world population
a lot
as more of us die
from the science we’ve got
the bugs all this time
have got stronger for they
are not made by man unkind
they still obey

the laws of nature
the great biosphere
that balances everything
all around here
selfishness and arrogance
are not natural traits
they are hurting us all
what is now on our plates

those of us who eat meat
hormone antibiotic
glyphosate ridden
via the despotic
the huge corporations
Monsanto and more
Dupont and BP and Chevron
for sure
Bayer and Merck
they are calling the tune
and the rest of really
will reach our high noon

we are so exposed to their
limitless power
supported by Government
another shower
of ignorant goons
who lap up the limelight
whilst fed by those who
have limitless funds
and know what to do

the round up is almost upon us
today
fracking is attacking
core values, a way
out yonder
we’re told we must tighten our belt
whilst the criminal bankers
and others have felt

no real opposition
bank bonuses are
rising whatever the media say
they are stealing from pension funds
everyday

the quest for margin
sees welfare. at a low
wild souls like the wolves
and foxes must go
Badgers are shot
scape goats after all
the innocent voiceless
does it appal?

those of us who stand up
and say it is wrong
we are the terrorists
and we belong
in camps somewhere
and the few whistling souls
are lean’t on and exposed
by the new world controls

we must dictate

put aside all their profits
invest and curtail
