Why would it surprise us really?
What America imports
to be close to them
on their side
shoulder to shoulder
global wide
the special relationship
whatever they do
its okay by us
so nothing new

the German’s are pissed off
but apparently, we
just go along with the secrecy
with their spying tactics
and God knows what
we are shoulder to shoulder
what a lot of rot

in Britain protection from foreign power
like the US
its really somewhat sour
the taste it leaves
European wise
we feel we are some

want to do
