Summer solstice ( Soi Sistere)

A big fat moon sits in the sky
before me
a tranquil light form
beaming all its power
on this solstice night
a contemplative sight
and I say aloud how happy
I am now

working in the garden
just this afternoon
in a idyll full of angels
I ascribe
to something close to
a feeling of euphoria
in a cooling mist of rain
I did imbibe

a feeling of being cared for
and it made me
flourish in a bubble of desire
to share this glorious
scene with all the trees
and plants around
in the silence of that moment
with my hands in the wet ground

and in that instant
solstice came a calling
Daylight follows suit
and reigns supreme
soi sistere
the sun stands still
completely
a time of happiness
so it would seem

and I am humbled
to be part of this small
group
of special souls
who on this solstice day
share a message
honed out of great love
for one another
and immortalized
in what is the great ray

of light that heralds
Summer in our being
as Claudia the catalyst
reminds
to all of you and especially
to Claudia and Luca
the everlasting light
is forever in our hearts
and in our minds

and it is an absolute
priviledge to know you all
