Circus ad’s that bend the truth

Circus would have you believe
that wild animals, prefer
to leave the land
where they were born
and they seem to infer
that Circus or some Zoo
somewhere
is favoured for them, and
come out with these ridiculous ad’s
like elephants understand!

they are better on some beach
learning some yoga
and they should be
sitting on their asses legs up
in the air
not being what they were born to be
living in their family group
this is their life together
not dressed up in a circus troupe

doing silly tricks
devised by low life
these ad’s appear and people
think they’re true
lets me now elucidate
so you do understand
wild animals must not be
in a zoo

just don’t believe these silly ad’s
leave the creatures where
they were born lets them live their lives
far from induced despair
kidnapping them and abusing them
for financial gain
is tantamount to the worst kind
of prolonged and awful strain
