The murder of a baby Dolphin ( for no reason other than to see it dead)

Plucked out of the ocean
a baby Dolphin, who
had everything to live for
and why wouldn’t it, want to
the reason of course
the fishermen
Taiji’s infamous hole
where every conceivable torture
happens
even to a baby soul

this baby realising
the awfulness of some
tried to hide
on the underside
of the boat
now this may numb
any humane earthling
for what followed after that
the Japanese in mindless fashion
murdered it and sat

back and laughed
their heads off
it mean’t nothing at all
and this a newly created life
answering a call
there was no rhyme or reason
to murder any child
and this Dolphin
was innocent
and so wonderful and wild

but of course it made no difference
to them they are really high
on the blood and snot
and there is a lot
and no matter who does cry
anything they capture
has to get the chop
or be sold off to some
aqua farm
and that must never stop

this tiny little baby
must have died inside
to realise one’s time is up
though who now can abide
such evilness
such lamentable behaviour
but then they
are so aggrieved inside themselves
they make everything pay

I so feel for that dolphin
frustrated and alone
and that of course is
terrible
his spirit they disown
they chopped him up
his agony it stained the water where
his final tears were evident
and now all who read will share
