Song birds and cats we love them both but sometimes there are victims

The beautiful song thrush whose warble can waken
The ill informed owner that put out the bread
And now very probably its song is ended
for the sweet young thrush is very much dead
its head ripped away and its bowels torn a’sunder
and dragged to the kitchen where its owner will
switch on the light on her trip to the freezer
and then see the spoils that her dear cat did spill
She will then have to move it put it in the dustbin
wash up the blood and its guts probably
And 5 minutes after she’s done it, I bet you
The cat will be licking her hand lovingly
And the song birds are dying, thousands are dying
Songs those sweet bird songs are fading away
Cats without bells on their collars are
killing them
And really that.s all I am going to say
