Poem written especially for Joan Rivers and her fur coats

I know I will get a mouth full
from you Joan that’s for sure
but wearing all those bodies
of the dead
that blood and gore
chemically treated
and stitched into a coat for you to wear
doesn’t really suit you
which you now must be aware

of all the deaths
and all the torture
and the workers who did deal
with the very noxious chemicals
that made dead skin appeal
the cost were lives
a lot of lives
whether farmed or wild
or what
evil came when all the blame fell
just on one spot

everybody
must take their share
murdering creatures
draws despair
to those still left
behind who know
their mother
how she had to go
in abject agony
on some hook
get a video
Take a look
I bet I get a
mouth full back
but I never set out
Joan to attack

Just ask you to be more aware that’s all
