with a short life
and starve it for 2 weeks
really pile on all the strife
watch its feather soften
and fall out on the floor
watch it getting weaker
that’s when its eggs grow more
so its about productivity
increasing profits for
its egging on the margins
to sell more to each store
its cruel, its diabolical
its frightening sad
the men will stoop
to this low level
the chicken knows it had
a really awful fortnight
but it couldn’t understand
why is wan’t fed for 14 days
till it couldn’t stand
it couldn’t shit
nor worry any more
increasing egg productivity
