Torture in a New York Dairy uncovered

What I’m about to tell you
sounds just like the middle ages
the dungeons and the thumbscrews and the like
but in fact it took place not so very long ago
in New York and in a dairy
by one tyke
who had been there for 19 years
and has now been told
he cannot work with animals for a year
the lashings and the beatings
the eye gouging
the electric prods
de budding and tail docking
and the fear
and all without a spot of
anaesthesia
which makes you wonder really
and truly why
its clearly going to be
so very painful
and to do it as they did
one wonders why
it seems to me its
either they could not care less
or set out to be nasty either way
the tail docking and de budding proceedure
if done on them
the screams you’d hear today
fines have been now levied
to the company
though much that went on
seemingly does go
on in every dairy
which was sated in their defence
and it shows you
just how sad things are you know
its clear the cows
would hate a stint in their place
cruelty and rape and death
its there
torture abject agony
cows are pretty docile
why the hell are they being so unfair
it makes me think that humans
drinking cows milk
stealing it from calves in fact
must be
pretty blooming awful in the first place
to allow what is, depravity
