They don’t just eat cats and dogs they torture them and beat them to death so that their meat is tender

What South Koreans do to dogs
for dog lovers, and me
to witness, and even hear about
it is atrocity
2 and 1/2 million dogs a year
are tortured unto death
violently uncared for
before their short last breath

electrocuted hung and beaten
they had not done. any wrong
but they were beaten black and blue
that treatment does belong
in dark ages of long ago
not now in South Korea
tenderising live meat in this fashion
causes fear

those poor souls facing death
with unbelievable pain
someone knocking 9 bells out of you
what do they gain
tender meat so some creep
who has no sympathy
for anything alive today
and asks for this purgatory

so they can swill their dog meat soup
and chew and taste that pain
South Korean diners are sick
and will be again
for murdering and torturing souls
in front of their caged friends
and tossing them into boiling water
imagine the message that sends

to those waiting their fate close by
how could one contemplate
such vile degrees of awfulness
that these customers rate
dogs now shown no mercy
its indignant just to hear
and this is commonplace
around the streets
the streets of fear

for dogs and cats
the suffering must be
enormous they
pass on to the next world
with unspeakable dismay
South Korea ban visits there
boycott all goods as well
this is not a country
its clearly a place in HELL
