Apathy

Apathy
and its all over
the planet
unfortunately
never a nova
some stars in the bright sky
seem ready to shine
though many just slink
to the darkness and pine
if you know something’s wrong
get out there and shout
“fracking is terrible!
put it about
get off your arse
sign petitions, and say
“Live animal exports we say no way”
animals cut up alive
all those tests
don’t call us the terrorist
make some arrests
the corporate fat cats who order
this stuff
and the bloody white coats
who make me feel rough
empathy that is what life
is about
not apathy see something
wrong and shout out!
