Zoo’s and some visitors

Hangzhou Zoo in Eastern China
has had a lot of snow
and visitors are going there
apparently they know

that animals are not
enamoured by the single thought
of snow balls coming from on high
and its seems that they are sought

2 lions in their enclosure
were seen to be so stressed
people chucking loads of snow
it has to be redressed

by putting them on the level
in with the frightened lions
not letting people torture them
you can see all the signs

a snowball coming at you
is frightening
what it must be like for them
God knows
the authorities should make
the people realize
that this kind of morbid action
it does pose

a reaction likely to create
some anger and resentment
a snowball in the face
can drive you wild
and these souls are already
so tormented its irritating
and it seems its not a child

doing this but full grown men
I mean what’s tween their ear oles
not a lot of grey matter I fear
the authorities should tell their
thoughtless customers
and ban them
really put some good old fear

and slap their faces
in the local paper
and also report on the
TV news
let their friends see
what they do, when they
visit zoos
I bet this behaviour
is likely then to lose

them many of their so called friends
for its such unbridled stuff
as for the lions well I mean
what can one say
they’ve had enough
sentient animals are not sentient
you hear the people be
wild animals are more sentient than
these insults for humanity

who should be banned and made to pay
give them a nasty shock
or make some special snow balls
with the inside layer rock
and chuck it at them in a pit
and see how they do fare
to me a lifetime ban would do the trick
in a tigers lair
