A rare soul (Diamonds)

She is like a flawless Diamond
no occlusions
crystal clear
every which way
there’s a rainbow
which in whatever light
holds dear

so calm
clearly a lovely spirit
those eyes
so deep and so profound
at sometime they may have
cried an ocean
but are the most beautiful
eyes around

her hair is fine
of woven lustre
greets my eyes
just every day
again the light
of far off vista’s
enhance the ripples
in every ray

all sorts of pigments
shine and glisten
a treasure trove
for all to share
and a sweet and heady
scent of oils
and all this
coming from her hair

her body, she’s truly
a goddess
serene in every movement, she
holds herself
with dignity
perfect, but such mystery

her voice is calming
warm and tender
thoughtful caring
soulful, she
her clothes unique
in every detail
expressions of a gothic qi

subliminally she
creates a mural
of such wonderment
for me
her colour sense
vibrant yet subtle
and to be with her
it helps me see
how this flawless diamond
happened
and when she comes into view
its very hard to
find the words
to paint her picture
as I do

her heart it may once
have been broken
but from it comes
abiding light
celestial diadems
of colour
that really light
my way at night

her knowledge
overwhelms most mortals
just everything about her
I
love and I know now deep
inside of me
I will love her till I die

and even death thought
to be final
her breath, her face
I will ne’r forget
and will look to find her
again some day
and until I do
my heart is set

for in heaven I will
walk the forests
hopeful
one day I will see
that flawless diamond
that darling girl
that I have
deep inside of me
